NEW DELHI: Lockdown in the country has been extended till May 17 as coronavirus outbreaks remain out of control, the government said.
The decision was taken after assessing the current situation in the country, the home ministry said.
Concessions will be granted to Green zone and partial exemptions will also be provided in the orange zone.
The restrictions imposed on public transport will continue. Hotels and restaurants are not allowed to operate as usual. Schools and colleges will remain closed. No crowd allowed.
