OTTAWA: The Vancouver-based British Columbia Supreme Court ruled on Friday to terminate the extradition procedure of Huawei chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou and free her from the house arrest, CBC reported.

On Friday, Meng reached a deferred prosecution agreement with the US government, resolving the US charges against her.

The United States accused her of violating US trade sanctions against Iran.
