WASHINGTON: The United States is not seeking confrontation with Moscow, but will continue to provide Ukraine with military assistance, Department of Defense Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh has told reporters.
"We don't seek war with Russia, but absolutely, you're going to see like-minded allies and partners come together to support Ukraine, and that's what we're going to continue to do," she said.
Singh also claimed that Washington, while helping Ukraine, is not attempting to turn the conflict into a large-scale regional confrontation that spills beyond the country’s borders.
