OTTAWA: The number of people injured in a Delta Airlines plane crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada has risen to 17, CTV reported, citing airport CEO Deborah Flint.
According to her, there were 76 passengers and four crew members aboard the plane; 17 people were taken to the hospital.
According to earlier reports, three people, including a child, were critical.
A Bombardier aircraft, flying from Minneapolis, US, turned upside down after it crashed. Ontario Province Premier Doug Ford confirmed that the incident had caused no fatalities. An investigation is underway.
