MOSCOW: President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday that negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow were substantial and productive.
The president of Belarus said that that the talks would be resumed on Friday and, if necessary, the following day.
"The talks with the Russian president were, as usually, substantial and productive," Lukashenko said at a news conference following his meeting with Putin in Moscow on Thursday.
"Well, Vladimir [Putin] we have covered only a third part of our talks," Lukashenko said. "We will continue our talks tomorrow, if necessary, and the day after tomorrow in order not only to settle our intergovernmental relations, but also to ponder the future prospects."
