MOSCOW:  Russia has much higher reserves of rare-earth metals as compared to Ukraine and can cooperate in this sphere either with the United States or with other countries, special envoy of the Russian President for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev said.

"Russia has many-fold reserves of rare-earth metals as compared to Ukraine and the president clearly indicated that, and we can cooperate in this regard either with the United States or with other countries," Dmitriev said.

The US has interest to cooperate in all spheres but such interaction should be in Russian interests, the special envoy added.
