New Delhi: The Central government has said that Covid vaccine can be taken without pre-registration and slot booking.
The decision comes at a time when people in many states are reluctant to get vaccinated. The center has informed that one can go directly to the vaccination center and get the vaccine.
However, the assessment is that this will not be practical in states like Kerala where people are rushing for the vaccine. This may lead to large crowds. Therefore, it is known that for the time being, Kerala will be following the same vaccination booked slot.
In Kerala, nine per cent have so far received two doses of vaccine and 34 per cent have received the first dose of vaccine.
