BAKU: The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia consider it necessary to continue work on some key issues of the draft peace treaty, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a press release following the meeting of the two countries' Foreign Ministers Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan in Berlin.
"The Ministers and their delegations discussed perspectives on the provisions of the draft bilateral Agreement on Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Mutual agreement was expressed to continue negotiations on the open issues," the statement said.
The statement notes that the ministers met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock within the visit.
Bayramov thanked the German side for providing a venue for talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The meeting of Bayramov and Mirzoyan was held in Berlin on February 28-29 in accordance with the agreement reached at the trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and German leaders Ilham Aliyev, Nikol Pashinyan and Olaf Scholz in Munich.
