ASTANA: Participants of the European emergency summit on Ukraine to be held on February 17 in Paris will do everything possible to prevent a peaceful resolution of the conflict, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated during his visit to Kazakhstan.
"Today Paris will host a meeting of those who have been constantly adding fuel to the fire of war in Ukraine for the last three years. These countries are for the war, they have supported the misguided strategy of sanctions in Europe. These states have constantly escalated the conflict. <...> Today the parties supporting the war are coming together in Paris, and they oppose peace and [US President Donald] Trump. They also want to do everything in their power to prevent a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict," the Hungarian minister of foreign affairs and trade told reporters following talks with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu.
